Learn to Mahj - August 1

Mahjong at the center, community at the heart! Join Mahj the Rock on Saturday, August 1 and learn to mahj with us at a special introductory price of $40. This personalized beginner-friendly is designed for those who have never played or those who need a full refresher. The class will teach you all the basics - the tiles, the card, game set up, and basic game play. We'll spend ~ 1 hour learning the building blocks of mahjong and ~1 hour of guided play through your first practice round. Registration includes the lesson, Mahj the Rock Welcome to Mahjong guide, a beverage of your choice from Alamo Cofee, and everything you'll need to learn the fundamentals of mahjong - all in a relaxed, welcoming environment. You can also purchase your own 2026 National Mah Jong League card directly from Mahj the Rock for $15 - yours to keep and use for future mahjong play! Register today!
