Beginner Guided Play is designed for players who have learned the fundamentals of American Mahjong but are still building confidence through experience. You’ll play real games in a welcoming social setting, with support available when you need it—whether you have a question about the card, need a rule reminder, or simply want a little reassurance along the way. This is not a beginner lesson, so players should already understand the basic flow of the game. You don’t need to be fast, know every rule, or feel completely confident yet. That’s exactly what guided play is for. And because mahjong is even better with good food and drinks, your registration includes one beer or soft drink from Whitestone Brewery, or a $5 credit toward a glass of wine.
